After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Heartland Christian, Jackson-Milton was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Lowellville Rockets. That's more bragging rights for the Bluejays, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Jackson-Milton had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-23, 25-23, 26-24.
Despite the loss, Lowellville still got an impressive performance from Hadassah Rivera, who had 34 digs. Rivera is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in the last 21 games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Kuzan, who had eight digs and ten assists.
