Volleyball Recap: Mountain Range Comes Up Short

After flying high against Northglenn on Tuesday, Mountain Range came back down to earth. The Mustangs lost 3-0 to the Westminster Wolves on Thursday. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Wolves recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-14, 25-19.

Westminster can attribute much of their success to Eileen Deleon Rodriguez, who had eight kills, four digs, and three aces. That's the most kills Deleon Rodriguez has posted over her last two contests.

Mountain Range's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Westminster, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mountain Range will square off against rival Prairie View at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Westminster is set to challenge their familiar foe Riverdale Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
