La Grange has gone a perfect 10-0 against Caldwell recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The La Grange Leopards will venture away from home to square off against the Caldwell Hornets at 5:15 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for La Grange's offense. They fell just short of C.H. Yoe by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Leopards have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Caldwell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Manor New Tech, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 790th, while Manor New Tech are ranked 211th).

Caldwell's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for La Grange, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-8.

La Grange was able to grind out a solid win over Caldwell in their previous matchup back in January, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for La Grange since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
