Football Game Preview: Cactus Shadows Falcons vs. Tucson High Magnet School Badgers + Official Tickets

For the second straight game, Cactus Shadows will face off against Tucson High Magnet School. The Falcons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Badgers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cactus Shadows will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

On Thursday, Cactus Shadows beat Tucson High Magnet School 48-40.

It was another big night for Donivan Dixon, who threw for 316 yards and five touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 199 yards and one TD on only 15 carries. He is becoming a predictor of Cactus Shadows' success: when he posts at least 300 passing yards the team is 4-1 (and 2-3 when he doesn't). Cooper Konopaski was another key player, gaining 125 total yards and two touchdowns.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Cactus Shadows was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 368 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Tucson High Magnet School's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Cactus Shadows, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.
