East Ridge came tearing into Tuesday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took their match with ease, bagging a 63-29 victory over the Lyman Greyhounds. The Knights' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

East Ridge was led to victory by Keemlynn Jean and Yanneris Peralta. Jean went 5 of 7 on her way to 16 points and five boards, while Peralta posted ten points in addition to six steals and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Peralta a new career-high in steals. Kourtnie Locke also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Despite the loss, Lyman saw an underclassman step up: freshman Samara Oldham put up 12 points. That was a full 41.4% of Lyman's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points. Gizelle Carvajal was another key player, putting up seven points.

East Ridge is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Lyman, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-19.

East Ridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 38-36 win against Lake Minneola on the 24th. Lyman has also already played their next match, a 44-13 loss against Oviedo on the 23rd.
