Basketball Recap: NC GBB Academy Finds Playoff Glory Versus Commission Leadership Academy

It's playoff time, and NC GBB Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Commission Leadership Academy Griffins with a sharp 68-44 win on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Griffins: they've now won four in a row.

NC GBB Academy found their leader in sophomore Parker Jeffries, who posted 25 points. Another player making a difference was Eli McGhee, who put up 15 points.

NC GBB Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Commission Leadership Academy, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Looking ahead, NC GBB Academy and Carter G. Woodson will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. Commission Leadership Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
