Volleyball Recap: Bloomington Comes Up Short

Bloomington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the San Gorgonio Spartans. If the Bruins were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Spartans when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bloomington was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-22, 25-10.

Bloomington's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for San Gorgonio, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Coming up, Bloomington will face off against Garey at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for San Gorgonio, they will take on Citrus Hill at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
