Volleyball Game Preview: Sanger Apaches vs. McLane Highlanders

Sanger is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will host the McLane Highlanders at 6:00 p.m. McLane took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Sanger, who comes in off a win.

Last Thursday, Sanger got the win against Edison by a conclusive 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Apaches in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won nine in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-20, 25-12.

Meanwhile, McLane was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Justin Garza.

McLane started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-18, 25-14, 25-15.

Sanger's win bumped their record up to 22-6. As for McLane, they now have a losing record of 8-9.
