Baseball Game Preview: Owings Mills Golden Eagles vs. Milford Mill Academy Millers

The Owings Mills Golden Eagles will head out to challenge the Milford Mill Academy Millers at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses dating back to last season for Owings Mills and ten for Milford Mill Academy dating back to last season.

Owings Mills' last matchup with Chesapeake could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Friday. The Golden Eagles lost 16-5 to the Bay Hawks.

Meanwhile, Milford Mill Academy scored the most runs they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against Carver A&T, falling 18-4.

Milford Mill Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Owings Mills, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Owings Mills might still be hurting after the 24-16 loss they got from Milford Mill Academy when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Golden Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
