Turpin's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Little Miami Panthers 3-2. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Turpin took Little Miami into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-20, 18-25, 21-25, 15-11.

Turpin was led to victory by Carmen Helgason and Amelia Frey. Helgason had five digs and two aces, while Frey had eight digs and one assist. Mia Galligan also deserves some recognition as she had her first digs of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Turpin was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. They are a perfect 11-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Turpin's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Little Miami, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

Turpin has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against West Clermont on the 30th. Little Miami has also already played their next matchup (against Winton Woods), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
