Flag Football Game Preview: Kimball Jaguars vs. Vista del Lago Eagles

The Kimball Jaguars will be playing in front of their home fans against the Vista del Lago Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Kimball 9.4, Vista del Lago 9.1) so any points scored will be well earned.

Kimball is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Liberty Ranch just ended the team's 21-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 31-26 to the Hawks. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Jaguars, who until this matchup were averaging 9.38 points allowed.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Emma Coronado, who threw for 380 yards and four TDs. Her passing production has been exceptional recently as that marked her third straight game with at least 316 passing yards. Anaiya Garcia also helped with two scores in total.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Vista del Lago rose to the challenge on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Falcons 48-13. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won nine contests by 20 points or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Vista del Lago and bumps their season record up to 15-6. The team dominated over those games too, winning by an average of 33.5 points. As for Kimball, they suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 24-2.
