            Volleyball Recap: Mountain Pointe Pride vs. Desert Mountain Wolves        
        
		
        
        
            
Mountain Pointe extended their losing streak  to six  on Monday, dropping them down to 6-25. They were a single  set away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Desert Mountain Wolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-0  last Tuesday.
 Kimsey Sundberg paced Mountain Pointe's offense, picking up 11 kills. Sundberg got some help from  Katherine Levin and her 20 assists.  Isabella Meagher controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
As for Desert Mountain, their victory  ended  a  four-match drought on the road  and  puts them at 12-22. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win they have posted  since September 19th.
  Mia Archibald was the offensive standout of the  matchup as she  had 16  digs. That's the most  digs  she has posted since back in October of 2024.
 Coming up, Mountain Pointe will venture away from home to  challenge Alhambra  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Desert Mountain, they will welcome Arizona College Prep  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
