Basketball Recap: Middletown Takes a Loss

Middletown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Berlin Redcoats and fell 70-34. The Blue Dragons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 51-11.

Leading Berlin to victory were Brooke Walker and Madelynn Sadowski. Walker posted 13 points and eight boards, while Sadowski made all 5 shots she took for 10 points and six assists. Sadowski is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 50% in the last seven games she's played. Katie Litwinko was another key player, going 6-for-8 on her way to 13 points.

Middletown's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Berlin, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-5.

As of now, neither Middletown nor Berlin have any future games scheduled.
