Highland is a perfect 3-0 against Cesar Chavez since November of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Highland Hawks will be playing at home against the Cesar Chavez Champions at 7:00 p.m. Highland knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Cesar Chavez likes a good challenge.

Highland heads in on the heels of a playoff matchup on Friday. They took a 72-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ironwood.

Meanwhile, Cesar Chavez won against Mountain Ridge on Friday with 65 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. Cesar Chavez enjoyed a cozy 65-46 win over Gilbert. The victory was nothing new for the Champions as they're now sitting on three straight.

Cesar Chavez pushed their record up to 16-11 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.7 points over those games. As for Highland, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-10.

Highland strolled past Cesar Chavez in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 63-44. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Cesar Chavez's Gabriel Briones, who posted 19 points and five boards.
