Softball Recap: Ridge Point Panthers vs. Fort Bend Travis Tigers
After flying high against Fort Bend Austin last Friday, Ridge Point came back down to earth. The Ridge Point Panthers fell 12-9 to the Fort Bend Travis Tigers on Tuesday. Ridge Point was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Fort Bend Travis apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March.
Sara Beth Groen was cooking despite her team's loss, going 4-for-4 with four RBI, a triple, and a run. The team also got some help courtesy of Kate Pierson, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.
