Morgan Little leads a balanced attack to beat Thales Academy Rolesville

The Neuse Christian Academy Lions won the last time they faced the Thales Academy Rolesville Knights, and things went their way on Thursday too. Neuse Christian Academy took down Thales Academy Rolesville 54-35. That's two games straight that Neuse Christian Academy has won by exactly 19 points.

Neuse Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Morgan Little out in front who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds. That's the first time this season that Little scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Gracyn Williams, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 20 rebounds.

Despite the loss, Thales Academy Rolesville saw an underclassman step up: Ursula Fischer scored 14 points along with seven steals. Fischer scored a full 40% of Thales Academy Rolesville's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Camille Foster, who scored nine points along with four steals.

The win got Neuse Christian Academy back to even at 4-4. As for Thales Academy Rolesville, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Neuse Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Cristo Rey Research Triangle on January 5th. Cristo Rey Research Triangle comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 22 points in their last five games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Thales Academy Rolesville, they will be playing at home against Friendship Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
