Soccer Recap: Westside's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Westside had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They came out on top against the Paxon School For Advanced Studies Golden Eagles by a score of 6-4. Considering the Wolverines' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Westside moved to 2-9 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Paxon School For Advanced Studies, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

Westside wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 4-0 loss against Menendez on the 27th. Paxon School For Advanced Studies does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
