Soccer Recap: Sherman Starts Season with Win Against Midland Trail

Sherman took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Saturday. They blew past the Midland Trail Patriots 4-0. The match was close at halftime, but Sherman turned on the heat in the second half with three goals.

Midland Trail's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Sherman wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-2 draw against Elk Valley Christian on the 26th. As for Midland Trail, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Pocahontas County on the 25th.
