Softball Recap: Wasco Comes Up Short

Wasco fell victim to Paraclete and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Spirits, falling 8-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

The defeat snapped Wasco's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-3 record. As for Paraclete, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season.

Wasco will challenge Independence at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Paraclete, they will head out on the road to face off against Tehachapi at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
