Baseball Game Preview: Hough Huskies vs. Hopewell Titans

The Hough Huskies will head out to square off against the Hopewell Titans at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The last four games Hough has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Hough played against Harding University on Tuesday and won via forfeit.

Hough will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Hopewell extended their winning streak to four on Friday. The Titans never let North Mecklenburg get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 contests by ten runs or more this season.

Hopewell pushed their record up to 18-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Hough, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.
