Basketball Recap: West-Oak Wins Going Away Against GREEN Upstate

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Liberty, West-Oak was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Everything went their way against the GREEN Upstate Owls as they made off with a 50-28 victory. The Warriors not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since November 23, 2024 (when they won 54-18).

Harry Burgess had a dynamite game, dropping a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds. Kash Adams was another key player, putting up 12 points and three steals.

The win got West-Oak back to even at 1-1. As for GREEN Upstate, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, West-Oak will take on Dixie in a tournament on Monday. As for GREEN Upstate, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Southside Christian at 7:30 p.m. on December 4.
