Softball Recap: Okeechobee Takes a Loss

Okeechobee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 13-4 to the Merritt Island Mustangs.

Okeechobee saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tehya Nunez, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Okeechobee's loss dropped their record down to 3-10-1. As for Merritt Island, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Okeechobee has already played their next matchup, a 15-9 defeat against Florida Christian on the 4th. As for Merritt Island, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 5-3 loss against Pembroke Pines Charter on the 4th.
