Football Recap: Paris Starts Season with Win on the Road

Paris had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Keytesville Tigers 66-0 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Coyotes also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Paris' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brad Skinner, who rushed for 96 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Skinner a new career-high. Another signal caller making a difference was Luke Ensor, who threw for 128 yards and three TDs.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Paris proved: they limited Keytesville to a paltry 1.6 yards per carry. The team can thank Bryce Wade for the heroic effort on defense: he. Paris didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 10.1.
