Ponder has gone a perfect 3-0 against Sunnyvale recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Lions will square off against Sunnyvale at 5:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Ponder comes in on five and Sunnyvale on ten.

On Friday, Ponder got the win against Grapevine by a conclusive 3-0.

One reason for the win was Ponder's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-13, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Sunnyvale made easy work of Ford on Friday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Sunnyvale took every set by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-10, 25-6.

Ponder's win bumped their record up to 26-11. As for Sunnyvale, their victory bumped their record up to 36-4.

Ponder was able to grind out a solid win over Sunnyvale when the teams last played back in August, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
