Softball Recap: Starmount Comes Up Short

After soaring to 17 runs the game before, Starmount was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They lost 10-2 to the East Wilkes Cardinals. The loss continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Cardinals: they've now lost six in a row.

Starmount's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for East Wilkes, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Starmount didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 win against West Stokes on the 4th. As for East Wilkes, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Forbush on the 2nd.
