Baseball Recap: Randolph School Comes Up Short

Randolph School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wilson Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-9 on Friday.

Bradford Hall made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in stolen bases. Another player making a difference was Jaxton Bennett, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Randolph School's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Wilson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

While Randolph School had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
