Baseball Recap: Reeds Spring Takes a Loss

Reeds Spring came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Logan-Rogersville Wildcats, falling 7-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Wolves in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost eight in a row.

Reeds Spring's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Logan-Rogersville, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Reeds Spring didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-0 defeat against Forsyth on the 22nd. As for Logan-Rogersville, they will square off against Branson at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
