Baseball Game Preview: Levelland Lobos vs. Snyder Tigers

The Levelland Lobos will face off against the Snyder Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Levelland had taken Lake View down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Lobos fell just short of the Chiefs/Maidens by a score of 13-12.

Meanwhile, Snyder got the win against Big Spring on Tuesday by a conclusive 13-3. That ten-run margin sets a new team best for the Tigers this season.

Levelland's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Snyder, they now have a winning record of 3-2-1.

Levelland skirted past Snyder 8-7 in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. Will the Lobos repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
