Baseball Recap: Sierra Canyon Find Success

Sierra Canyon got themselves on the board against Saugus on Friday, but Saugus never followed suit. They came out on top against the Centurions by a score of 4-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trailblazers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Sierra Canyon and bumps their season record up to 13-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Saugus, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-11.

Looking ahead, Sierra Canyon will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against St. Francis at 3:30 p.m. As for Saugus, they will venture away from home to take on Castaic at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Coyotes will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Centurions surely won't give up without a fight.
