Baseball Recap: Hamilton Comes Up Short

Hamilton managed to slip by Princeton the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Big Blue lost 11-1 to the Vikings on Monday. The Big Blue were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Vikings earlier this season, when they won 6-4.

Hamilton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Iglesia, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

Hamilton has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Princeton, they pushed their record up to 7-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Coincidentally, Hamilton and Princeton will both be playing Sycamore the next time they take the field. The Vikings will head out to face the Aviators at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Big Blue will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
