Basketball Recap: Skidmore-Tynan Comes Up Short

Skidmore-Tynan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 41-21 to the Odem Owls. If the Bobcats were looking for revenge after losing 45-25 to the Owls when the teams met back in February of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the loss, Skidmore-Tynan saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Keithan Wilson posted seven points.

Skidmore-Tynan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Skidmore-Tynan will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Karnes City at 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Odem, they will take on Sinton at 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
