Softball Game Preview: Jennings Bulldogs vs. Northwood Falcons

The Jennings Bulldogs will head out on the road to square off against the Northwood Falcons at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Jennings' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Northwood's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Wednesday. Jennings fell 6-1 to Iota. Jennings has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northwood might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 9-8 to Caddo Magnet, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Mackenzie Jagers was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 3-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Stephanie Ramirez, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-3.

Jennings' record now sits at 6-4. As for Northwood, their record is now 6-9.
