Volleyball Game Preview: Hiram Hornets vs. Wheeler Wildcats

After both having extra time off, the Hiram Hornets and the Wheeler Wildcats will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Hiram turned things around against Chapel Hill last Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Wheeler beat McEachern 2-0 last Thursday.

Wheeler never let McEachern on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 27-25.

Hiram's record now sits at 5-21. As for Wheeler, their record is now 8-21.

Hiram skirted past Wheeler 2-1 in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hornets since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
