Volleyball Recap: Peaster Extends Winning Streak to 13

Peaster waltzed into their match on Tuesday with 12 straight wins... but they left with 13. They blew past the Comanche Indians 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

While Peaster might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Comanche scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-18, 25-18.

Leading Peaster to victory were Kyler Shirley and Chloe Pilgrim. Shirley had 13 digs and five assists, while Pilgrim had eight digs and one assist. That's the most assists Shirley has posted since back in September.

Peaster's win bumped their record up to 33-12-1. As for Comanche, their defeat dropped their record down to 27-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Peaster is set to square off against their familiar foe Breckenridge at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Comanche will face off against rival Tolar at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
