Sean Burke was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February.
In other batting news, Preston Bohanon was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Luke Brown, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
Gladewater's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-9.
