Volleyball Recap: Titusville Comes Up Short at Home Against Merritt Island + How To Watch

Titusville unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Merritt Island Mustangs on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Terriers of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-18, 25-16.

Leading Merritt Island to victory were Sarah Niazi and Khloe Horton. Niazi had seven digs and three aces, while Horton had ten digs. What's more, Niazi posted four assists, the most she's had since back in October of 2024.

Titusville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 win against East River on the 19th. As for Merritt Island, they will face off against Satellite at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
