Deming waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 37-23 victory over the Silver Fighting Colts. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 35-23 victory last Monday.

When it comes to explaining why Silver lost, don't look at Kianna Murillo. Despite the final result, she shot 63% from the field on her way to 10 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Nyssa Torres, who posted three points and six boards.

Deming's win bumped their record up to 20-7. As for Silver, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-11.

Deming has already played their next game, a 45-36 victory against Espanola Valley on the 7th. As for Silver, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-39 loss against Albuquerque Academy on the 7th.
