Basketball Recap: Lansdowne Comes Up Short

Lansdowne lost against Loch Raven back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Lansdowne Vikings had to suffer through a 58-31 loss at the hands of the Loch Raven Raiders.

Loch Raven's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aariyn Gibson led the charge by going 7 for 16 on her way to 17 points and seven steals. Another player making a difference was Jadon Conteh, who went 7 of 13 en route to 16 points and four steals.

Lansdowne's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Loch Raven, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-7 record this season.

Lansdowne has already played their next match (against Milford Mill Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Loch Raven will host Owings Mills at 4:00 p.m. on January 30th.
