With a playoff win on the line, Fremd rose to the challenge on Friday. They blew past the Lyons Lions 45-21. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by 22 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Johnny O'Brien, who threw for 306 yards and four touchdowns. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last three games he's played. Jayden Faulkner helped O'Brien out on the ground, rushing for 74 yards and one score, while also catching one TD.

Fremd didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Michael Murray and Troy Pepe.

The win (which was Fremd's fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 37.5 points over those games. As for Lyons, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-3.

As of now, neither Fremd nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
