They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Miners 81-47 at home. University Prep has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead University Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Adam Gire, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gire has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Peter Rundle, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds and two steals.

The victory was the 13th in a row for University Prep, bringing their record for this year to 21-8. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 24.8 points. As for Yreka, their loss dropped their record down to 13-17.

University Prep will be playing in front of their home fans against Colusa at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. University Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 17 matches -- so hopefully Colusa likes a good challenge. Yreka does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
