Blue Valley Northwest won the last time they faced St. James Academy and things went their way on Friday too. The Blue Valley Northwest Huskies sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 61-59 win over the St. James Academy Thunder. Given the Huskies' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked seventh, while the Thunder are ranked 76th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for Blue Valley Northwest and bumps their season record up to 14-6. As for St. James Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.

As of now, neither Blue Valley Northwest nor St. James Academy have any future games scheduled.
