If Centennial was feeling good fresh off their 91-56 takedown of Drew Charter last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Centennial Knights took a 71-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Westminster Wildcats on Friday. The Knights' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Westminster, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 10-7.

Centennial and Westminster should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. Centennial will challenge Roswell at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday up 118 places (109 vs. 227). Similarly, Westminster (ranked 138th) will meet Blessed Trinity (ranked 396th) at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
