Volleyball Game Preview: Worland Warriors vs. Powell Panthers + How To Watch

Worland hasn't had much luck against Powell recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Warriors will take on the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Worland's tournament run continued when they took on Pinedale on Saturday. The Warriors lost 3-0 to the Wranglers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Warriors have suffered against the Wranglers since October 8, 2021.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Powell duked it out with Lander Valley on Saturday. The Panthers came up short against the Tigers, falling 3-0.

Worland's loss dropped their record down to 6-10-1. As for Powell, they now have a losing record of 11-12-1.

Worland came out on top in a nail-biter against Powell when the teams last played back in September, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
