Mount Olive's leading scorer did her thing again on Friday. Gerkiera Youngblood was excellent, going 11-for-27 on her way to 24 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Thanks to that strong showing, she's now averaging 2.2 steals per game.

Youngblood and Mount Olive won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Taylorsville at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Pirates haven't beaten the Tartars recently, having gone 0-7 since February of 2023.
