Basketball Recap: Woodland Takes a Loss

Woodland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They took a 46-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Calais Blue Devils. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 104th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 20th).

Woodland's loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Calais, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 14-4.

As of now, neither Woodland nor Calais have any future games scheduled.
