Baseball Recap: West Valley Wolf Pack vs. Monroe Catholic Rams

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Valley). Everything went their way against the Monroe Catholic Rams on Monday as they made off with an 18-4 win. The victory continues a trend for the Wolf Pack in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won seven in a row.

Hudson Wixom made a big impact no matter where he played. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Wixom was even better at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, West Valley got a massive performance out of Finn Lindsey, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Those two hits gave Lindsey a new career-high.
