A Season-Best Performance from Jamal Newsome Leads Corinth Holders over South Garner

On Friday, Corinth Holders got the W thanks in part to Jamal Newsome playing the best football he has all season. Newsome picked up 111 receiving yards and a touchdown. He didn't just play on offense: he also made two total tackles and defended four passes in addition to snagging an interception.

Corinth Holders pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Newsome will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Fuquay - Varina on Friday.
