Baseball Recap: South Park Find Success

While South Park's victory against Mohawk Area wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Warriors 4-3. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in June of 2022.

South Park has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Mohawk Area, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-11.

South Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mohawk Area, they will take on Titusville on Monday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rockets have averaged an impressive 8.9 runs per game this season.
