Soccer Recap: Fountain Inn Comes Up Short

After flying high against Woodruff last Friday, Fountain Inn came back down to earth. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Wren Hurricanes who were credited with the win on Tuesday. The Wren Hurricanes got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Fountain Inn Fury's two. The defeat continues a trend for Fountain Inn in their meetings with Wren: they've now lost five in a row.

Fountain Inn's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Wren, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.
