Baseball Game Preview: Carson Colts vs. Lakewood Lancers

The Carson Colts will take on the Lakewood Lancers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with six losses in a row dating back to last season, Carson turned things around against Long Beach Poly on Friday. They skirted past the Jackrabbits 6-4.

The team relied heavily on Kris Sinclair, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and two RBI. That triple was his first of the season. Juno Carillo was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, while Lakewood put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Bellflower. Lakewood came out on top against Bellflower by a score of 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lancers.

Lakewood now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Carson, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.
